Cotillion
Traditional Sweet Mead

Our family at Five Hives has labored to create a true, quality example of a traditional mead. Made simply from honey, yeast and water, the flavor is unique to the local wildflower honey and the yeast selected by the mead maker.
Though reminiscent of old-world castle banquet halls, this pure traditional mead embraces flavors that resonate with modern-day palettes. Three ingredients yield the “nectar of the gods,” as it has been called for centuries. From kings and queens of old, to friends and family today, the simplicity & sophistication of this drink shines.
True Blue
Blueberry Mead

A refreshing mead crafted with school spirit in mind. Bursting with the bold flavors of sweet blueberries and zesty lemon, this mead embodies the pride of Statesboro. Just like the soaring eagle mascot, “True Blue” is crisp, vibrant, and full of character – perfect for toasting to your favorite game day moments or simply enjoying the true essence of Southern tradition. Bee’s Knees

A session mead designed for the great outdoors. Think picnicking, canoeing, and outdoor adventures. Bee’s Knees invites you to create your own memories. From my Uncle Gordon’s garage, I retrieved my Grandfather’s 1916 canoe, once used on Michigan’s backwater rivers, now restored and at home in the heart of Five Hives. Our family shares stories of adventures, big and small, and we encourage you to follow your heart, make your own memories, and share your stories while enjoying Bee’s Knees.
